New Delhi: Asus announced new
additions to the Transformer Series - the Asus Transformer Book Flip,
which is a 15.6-inch laptop with 360-degree rotating touchscreen that
flips for use as a laptop, a responsive tablet, or anything in between;
Asus Transformer T200, which is a 2-in-1 laptop with 11.6-inch rablet;
and the Asus Transformer Pad TF103 tablet.
The Asus Transformer Book Flip TP550LD
is a 15.6-inch Windows 8.1 laptop, which features a touchscreen with a
screen resolution of 1366x768 pixels. Its touchscreen has a hinge design
that enables the screen to be set at any angle between zero and 360
degrees. It, therefore, can be used as a laptop, a responsive tablet, or
anything in between.
The Book Flip is powered by Intel Core
i3 and i5 processors. With its Instant On technology, the Flip only
takes two seconds to resume from sleep, and users don't need to worry
about losing data when in sleep mode for up to 14 days - when the
Lithium-polymer battery's charge drops below 5 per cent, files and data
are automatically backed up. The Asus Book Flip is priced at Rs 47,999
onwards
Asus Transformer Book T200, on the other
hand, is a 11.6-inch Windows tablet. You can detach the tablet to work
and play, and dock to enjoy the full-size keyboard. It gives up to 10.4
hours of battery life. It also comes with the company's Instant On
technology. The device is powered by the latest Intel Z3775 Bay Trail
processor and comes with USB 3.0 connectivity, offering you speeds that
are up to 10x faster than USB 2.0, says Asus.
It has 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel
front cameras. The Asus Transformer Book T200 has built-in Miracast
technology that lets you send content straight to the big screen -
wirelessly. It costs Rs 35,999.
The new Asus Transformer Pad TF103 is a
10.1-inch tablet with a 1280x800 IPS display, Intel Atom dual core
processor and an optional keyboard dock with USB 2.0. The Asus
Transformer Pad is claimed to deliver up to 9.5 hours of battery life.
The Asus Transformer Pad is powered by
Intel Atom Z2560 processor (up to 1.6GHz, dual-core). It comes with 8GB
of onboard storage that can be supplemented with up to a 64GB MicroSD
card.
Asus Transformer Pad has a 2-megapixel
rear-facing camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. This tablet
carries a price tag of Rs 19,999...
